Y After School 2026-2027
Our Lexington City and Rockbridge County Y After School program is for children ages 5-12 attending Waddell Elementary, Central Elementary and Fairfield Elementary Monday - Friday during the 2026-2027 school year. Our commitment to providing our children with a fun and engaging place to learn, and our parents with an environment where their children are being well cared for, is always our top priority.
LEXINGTON CITY AND ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY AFTER SCHOOL SITES (Monday-Friday)
Waddell Elementary School (100 Pendleton Pl, Lexington, VA 24450)
Central Elementary School (85 Central Rd, Lexington, VA 24450)
Fairfield Elementary School (20 Fairfield School Rd, Fairfield, VA 24435) Students will be bused to Central Elementary School for care.
HOURS
Y After school care operates from 2:00 to 6:00 pm from August 12, 2026 to May 27, 2027. The program will remain open on planned holiday breaks.
COST
Registration Fee: $50
Weekly Rates: Members: $90/ Non-Members: $105
Financial Assistance: Virginia DSS Assistance is also available. If you do not qualify for DSS assistance, the YMCA is a non-profit charitable organization that provides scholarships for those unable to pay the standard rate. Click here to learn more and apply.

You will receive an email with the required paperwork that must be submitted prior to your child's start date. Your child will not be admitted to Y After School until all paperwork has been completed.
