Your Y Membership Includes:
NO ANNUAL CONTRACTS: We believe our services, and not a contract, will keep you around. You can cancel your membership at any time with 30 days' notice.
FREE GROUP EXERCISE: The YMCA of Virginia's Blue Ridge offers hundreds of classes to choose from for participants of all levels.
QUALITY CHILD CARE: Work out comfortably, knowing your children are safe and having fun with our trained and qualified Play & Stay staff members. Stay & Play is included with a household membership and with an individual membership for children ages 3 and under. Stay & Play is for children ages 6 weeks - 10 years.
MULTI-BRANCH ACCESS: Y membership comes with access to all five branches in our association to include Roanoke, Salem, Rockbridge, and Botetourt.
FIT START PROGRAM: We ensure you get off on the right track with the right program based on your specific goals. Our wellness staff will work with you to provide support over three thirty-minute sessions for free!
PROGRAM DISCOUNTS: Y members receive reduced rates on programs, including swim lessons, youth sports, camps, dance, wellness programs, and more.
STATE-OF-THE-ART EQUIPMENT: Our Wellness Centers and group exercise classes are equipped with high-quality fitness machines with smart technology.
CERTIFIED STAFF: Y staff members and personal trainers are highly skilled instructors with various accolades and training certifications.
YMCA360: YMCA360 is an on-demand video platform exclusively to our YMCA members. YMCA360 offers group exercise classes, youth sports training, wellbeing classes, and more to serve you wherever you are.
MY Y ACCOUNT: Your MY Y Account is designed to provide you with a user friendly, web-based portal to access your personal YMCA account.
Nationwide Membership
YOUR Y IS EVERY Y
Nationwide Membership enables you to visit any participating Y in the United States through membership at your “home” YMCA (your home location is the facility that enrolled you as a member and that collects your membership dues).
We offer this because we want to help you reach your health and wellness goals wherever you live, work, or travel. This is an essential part of our cause of strengthening communities.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Valid for active, full facility YMCA members
- Nationwide member visitors must use their home Y at least 51% of the time
- Program-only participants and special memberships are not eligible for Nationwide Membership
