Construction Notice: Stay & Play & Front Entrance

Beginning September 3, contractors will be completing work at the Stay & Play area to install a new exterior egress door. This work is necessary to meet fire code requirements and maintain our certificate of occupancy.

During construction, members may notice temporary barriers and changes to the entrance area:

• A temporary wood wall will section off a portion of the front entrance area while work is underway. The automatic door opener will be relocated to this temporary wall.

• 24-Hour access will remain available and accessible to members.

• A temporary construction barrier inside Stay & Play will reduce the available space by approximately 3 feet by 5 feet.

• September 3: The loudest construction work, including removal of exterior concrete blocks, will take place between 1–4 p.m. while Stay & Play is closed.

• September 4: Exterior concrete work will temporarily impact one handicap parking space.

• September 9–10: Contractors will continue working behind the construction barrier. Noise is expected to be minimal, and Stay & Play is expected to remain open. If needed, Stay & Play will use the Community Room during the mornings on these dates.

• Following September 10, there will be a brief pause while we wait for the tempered glass for the new door. Construction will resume once the glass arrives.

We anticipate the project will be completed by September 25.
