Y After School 2026-2027

Our Botetourt County Y After School program is for children ages 5-12 years old attending Botetourt County Schools Monday - Friday during the 2026-2027 school year. Our commitment to providing our children with a fun and engaging place to learn, and our parents an environment where their children are being well cared for is always our top priority.

DATES AND HOURS

Y After school care operates Monday-Friday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm from August 12th, 2026 - May 26th, 2027. The program will remain open on planned two-hour release days, teacher workshop days, holiday breaks, and snow days at a designated location.

COST

Financial Assistance: Virginia DSS Assistance is also available. If you do not qualify for DSS assistance, the YMCA is a non-profit charitable organization that provides scholarships for those unable to pay the standard rate. Click here to learn more and apply.

Registration: $50

Weekly Rates: Members: $90 per week/Non-Members: $105 per week ($5 multi-child discount available).

Full Day Care: Members/Non-Members: Additional $20 per day

You will receive an email with the required paperwork that must be submitted prior to your child's start date. Your child will not be admitted to Y After School until all paperwork has been completed.
