Summer Camp Registration is Now Open!
Discover an unforgettable summer at our Backyard Adventures Summer Camp! Campers dive into nature with hiking, outdoor games, camping skills, and hands-on science experiments. Each week brings new excitement—sports and team challenges, animal and space exploration, water play days, and classic camp fun like grilling hot dogs and roasting s’mores.
Along the way, kids build friendships, confidence, and new skills in a safe and supportive environment led by caring staff.

Add on Riptides Swim School lessons!
Your camper will make a splash while learning how to swim this summer! Swimming is a life skill as well as a great exercise and a challenging sport. Our progressive program is designed to teach swimmers the basics through the mechanics of all four strokes. The price is for two classes per week; days and times vary.
Financial Assistance: Virginia DSS Assistance is available. If you do not qualify for DSS assistance, the YMCA is a non-profit charitable organization that provides scholarships for those unable to pay the standard rate. Click here to learn more and apply.
