COVID-19 Updates

Operational Updates

We are planning to reopen our facilities on Monday, June 8! We recognize how important it will be to follow current health guidelines and implement new practices to ensure a healthy and safe environment. You will see new cleaning routines, signage to assist with social distancing, and limited activities where social distancing or guidance tells us is not safe yet.
Upon reopening, we will have slight adjustments to facility hours.
Monday - Friday: 5:00 am - 8:00 pm
Saturday: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday: 1:00 - 6:00 pm
We will be updating this page as we receive guidelines for phase two and will be communicating those to our members later this week. We look forward to seeing you soon!
During phase one, our buildings will remain closed, but we will have the opportunity to serve our members in an outdoor environment. Beginning Monday, May 18, we will offer live group exercise classes in designated areas outside of our buildings. Class sizes will be limited to nine participants, and reservations will begin three hours before the start of class on a first-come, first-served basis. View our class schedule by branch here and important information on attending classes.
We remain hopeful that our doors will reopen soon. As outlined by Governor Northam, fitness facilities are approved to reopen during phase two. Keeping our members' safety in mind, we plan to reopen shortly after this announcement and will send operational updates then.
When this is over, we will be ready for you! See what our incredible staff team has been up to here.

We're Here For You!

If you have a question for us while we are temporarily closed, please contact your local YMCA branch via phone between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, or email us at and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

What's happening with my membership?

We have placed all memberships on a temporary hold, and you will not be drafted again until the Y reopens.

Help support the Y in its greatest area of need by waiving your membership credit for days the YMCA is closed. By continuing to pay your membership fee, you will allow us to maintain the financial resources needed to focus our time, people and energies to where our community needs it most. Your membership fuels our impact.
